Steps for your Pure Safe Travel
New Travel Advisory/Entry Protocols for Grenada
Dear Nationals and Friends,
The Consulate General of Grenada, Ghana wishes to update the public on the new Travel Protocols for entry into Grenada, due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
As of Tuesday, 1st December 2020 all travellers to Grenada will be required to complete an online application in order to receive a Pure Safe Travel Authorization Certificate to enter Grenada. If you are travelling to Grenada for the Christmas season and would like to be with your family/friends for Christmas Day, the last day to arrive in Grenada in order to be out of quarantine before Christmas Day is Thursday, 17th December 2020.
Please also note that as of Saturday, 28th November 2020, PCR tests are to be taken no more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to your arrival in Grenada.

The Consulate General of Grenada, Ghana continues to monitor the situation regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States.
"To minimize the risks within our community, we are adhering to the appropriate protocols and continue to make the safety and well-being of our nationals and our staff a priority.
Given the growing health concerns related to COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, we are suspending in-person consular services with the exception of First-Time Grenadian born Applicants with urgent travel itineraries. If you need to renew your passport, please do so via courier or certified mail.

New E-Passport Notice
The Consulate General of Grenada wishes to inform all Grenadian nationals that the Government of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique has transitioned to the new E-Passport. Present passports would run their course and their validity would end in 2023.
The e-Passport is a biometric passport/digital passport, enhanced with an embedded electronic microprocessor, which is distinguished by a logo at the front cover.
Effective Friday, 1st November 2019, the adjusted fee for the new e-Passport will be US$250.00.
Effective Monday, July 16th, 2018, the new e-Passport, meets International Civil Aviation standards.

First Time Passport Applicants Must Appear In Person
As of May 20, 2017 all First Time Passport Applicants must appear in person for an interview with a Consular Officer. Applications received by mail after May 20, 2017 will not be processed and will be returned at the expense of the applicant. Please call +233 30 279 0782 Ext.102 to schedule an appointment at the Consulate General in Ghana Beach, Accra.
